Caroline and Kyle met on October 1, 2021, in their current home of Atlanta, Georgia. Kyle had recently graduated from the University of Florida and moved to the city for his first full time job. New to the city, he excitedly accepted an invitation to attend a housewarming party thrown by some of his former classmates at UF. Little did he know, Caroline was also invited to the same party that evening. Before leaving home to unknowingly meet her future husband, Caroline looked herself in the mirror and thought of how much fun she was going to have with her girlfriends. Kyle also looked himself in the mirror before leaving and said to himself that he had a strange feeling that it was going to be a memorable night. They arrived at the party and mingled with friends, both old and new, sharing mutual stories and making the 'small world' connections. Caroline spotted Kyle's profile from across the kitchen and boldly made her way to him for an introduction, immediately drawn to his good looks. They started talking in a circle of people at first, then everyone else started to fade away. Their connection was instant and organic. They left the party to go to a bar together, Dark Horse, where Kyle tried to sign them up for a karaoke duet that would be backed by a live band. That's when Caroline's interest was truly piqued — his bold first move paid off! Kyle asked Caroline to spend more time together the following day, so they decided to enjoy a Kinship sandwich and a coffee, a local favorite spot that would become the place where they spent their anniversaries in the future. From that day forward, they didn't stop seeing each other.&nbsp;By New Year’s Eve, as the clock struck midnight, Kyle officially asked Caroline to be his girlfriend. In the years that followed, they filled their days with adventure and love—from summer escapes in New England to a road trip down the Pacific Coast Highway in California — which allowed only for their adoration toward each other to grow stronger. With every moment, from mountain sunrises to ocean sunsets, they became more certain they were meant to be together for the long haul. On November 23, 2024, as the sun set over Buckhead’s skyline, Kyle dropped to one knee and asked Caroline to be his wife and to love him for eternity. With great joy, she said yes! Now they eagerly count down the days to their May wedding located just a few miles from where their story first began. They both know this is only the beginning!
